Reviewer Comments: We had four hunters booked into Merv's spring bear camps in Alberta. The first two hunters experienced poor weather but harvested four bear, two each. They had good color phase as well. The next two hunters had less success. They each shot one bear but lost one of them in the heavy cover after three trips by the guides to find it. The one hunter who did not take a bear was invited back for a fall hunt for free. Merv ran a tip top camp with high success. Our four hunters shot six bear and we will book the 2001 spring hunt full very soon. Our 1999 waterfowl hunters also had a great hunt. Call our office for details.

Manitoba Hunting Information

Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.

New Mexico Hunting Information

New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.

Yukon Territory Hunting Information

The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
