What a Joke!!!!

This hunt has to be one of the worst hunts that I have ever been on. The First year that I went for rifle season there were only supposed to be a minimal amount of people hunting. Well we got there and they had 20+ hunters and 3 guides. We were not issued a quide and had to cook for ourselves. The very first day of the hunt they dropped me off at a gate on the side of the road and told me directions to the stand. It was simple, just follow the road and cross the lake levy and you will run into the stand on the other end of the lake levy. Well after telling them that I was a recovering cancer patient and that I could not stay in extreme cold temps or walk long distances I arrived at the deer stand a hour later and over 2 miles of walking to it. Saw one fair deer on the whole 25,000+ acres in the 5 days that I was there. Year two (yea I let a buddy talk me into going back). They said they were sorry and that it would be better this time around. Well we did have a guide assigned to drop us off and pick us up and we did have someone cooking for us so yea that part was better. Again I saw one decent deer that year. They have over hunted this place killing everything with a horn on it. So my advice would be that if your looking for a good hunt never go here. The guy in charge is a greedy money hungry man and treats his help and guides like total crap not to mention his clients. The two years I went he had different guides each year because they would quit after one year of work.

Outfitter Response: The post is fictitious, I think the writers pen name, JOHN WAYNE, says it all. See me at www.huntinginkansas.com Or at the booth across from the outdoor channel in Harrisburg PA. on Feb. 4. I am the owner of Caney creek outfitters.

Manitoba Hunting Information

Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.

Yukon Territory Hunting Information

The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
