Reviewer Comments: There was only one shootable elk and one shootable mule deer between my brother and I and we each had an elk/mule deer tag. I have hunted in areas that had much more game than here. This is not to reflect the amount of effort that Jack put into the hunt. He worked every minute of the day to find the game which just wasn't there. It is my opinion that with Jacks hard work and Martins cooking in a different area this would be a first class hunt. In other words the outfitter gets an "A" while the amount of game gets a "C-". We only filled one tag of four and put in 6 days of hard hunting.

Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
Ohio Hunting Information
Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
