Reviewer Comments: Stan hunts in Unit 61 which is a draw unit - his area has excellent populations of elk, deer, and bear - all were seen at various times. Stan is also a rancher who is in the area all year long - he knows the area and how to hunt it. I have hunted with him several times and have never been disappointed. He hunts out of either a cabin or tents depending on the season. You will not regret booking a hunt with him.

Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
