Frank Church Wilderness Hunt
We've hunted with this guide twice. Our hunt in 2013 produced a 6x6 bull out of the Falconberry Campsite. Our hunt in 2015 was unsuccessful. This outfitter has outstanding campsites, food, horses, mules. The hunting is remote and the terrain is extremely rugged. You will be riding and hiking in a lot of steep country. In 2013 and 2015 we paid for a 1x1 combination hunt. In 2013 after I killed the elk, my guide was done hunting. I was very disappointed in his lack of effort to continue looking for deer or bear. In 2015 due to the very warm weather the elk had moved up in higher country (we could see them) and the guide did not want to pursue them. On the very last day I asked to go to the top and the closest we got was a 750 yard shot and it was the last day and too late in the afternoon to continue pursuing. My point with all this is if you see game, have your guide get you there. Most of the days we sat on a lower ridge waiting for the easy shot, for game to come across our path and I will not do that again. This outfitter is good but you'll have to push the owner, Ron Ens, to hunt for you. He knows his territory and it is good elk country. One other note, if you like to drink at night - they can put down some alcohol. It is not my gig but I know a lot of hunters who like to party and they will accommodate.

Species Hunted: mountain lion
Game Quality: 0
Accommodation Quality: Excellent
Camp Condition: Excellent
Food Quality: Excellent
Guide Experience: Excellent
Other Personal Experience: Excellent
Overall Impression: Excellent
Recommend: Yes
Reviewer Comments: I did not harvest an animal...snow conditions were as unfavorable as they could get! It snowed one or two times a little bit but then it melted during the day. Shouldn't do this the middle of February! We hunted hard and cut one track that went through bare ground and over some rock faces...I will head back in December as my license/tag will still be good. Great people, very hospitable and fun to be around!

Reviewer Comments: We were told that we would be in an area that had excellent game. In 7 days of hunting we saw One legal buck. Hiked about 10 miles a day and saw virtually no sign and very few game trails. You could not pay me to go on this hunt again! Packers were very well qualified, but I have never been so disappointed with a hunt! I was told that we would see 100-150 head of elk each day if we hunted hard. I assure you we hunted "hard"! Snow was on the ground and we didn't cut a single fresh elk track. We asked to be packed out early and Killed the 1 buck we saw half way to the stables on the way out. No way would I ever hunt with them again.

Recommend: for accomodations yes, for gam
Reviewer Comments: great camp and accomodations. Saw less game than on any hunt I've ever been on. Hiked miles and miles in the snow each day and was lucky to see a single deer track. A great camping trip in very beautiful country. Very poor quantinty of game though. We did a drop camp and I wouldn't go again if you paid me! perhaps the guided hunts would be better. Very nice people!

Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
