Reviewer Comments: Edwin bills the elk hunt as 100% shot opportunity. I was the only hunter that saw an elk. I got lucky. If you go, you gotta go the first week or the last week. The quantity of elk seen is minimal. I was the only hunter to take an elk and in 2009, through the first 4 weeks out of 6 only two other elk were taken. Basically, a 25% success ratio. Mine was the largest elk taken in camp for the year. The mule deer are small and not worth paying since you have a lesser chance of getting an elk. They are part of the Clare Prophet cult and are trying to sell the business. They use a TON of garlic in the food. I like garlic, but the cookies tasted like garlic and everyone was sick. Even the guides won't eat the food.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
British Columbia Hunting Information
British Columbia is an excellent hunting destination that offers a wide variety of game species. Vast wilderness areas and pristine coastlines provide world class adventure hunting for those seeking that trip of a lifetime. BC is arguably best known for big coastal black bears, Canada moose, grizzly bear, mountain lion, Dall sheep and Stone sheep. Hunters can book a hunt with an outfitter and avoid the license drawing process common in most U.S. states.
