Moose hunt
Hunted with ron for my 2014 moose hunt. Nicest, cleanest hunting cabin I have evr stayed in. Had a great hunt and shot the exact moose I wanted. Not too big (tough eating) but not too small. I would highly recommend. This guy knows his stuff!

Bear Hunt
We just finished our first hunt with Ron. The amount of work and the attention to detail he put's in for his clients is outstanding. The lodging is way above average. As a bonus I took a very nice black bear boar. Listen to Ron,in my opinion he's an expert and will likely put you on a bear. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bear Hunt
If you are looking for a place to hunt BEAR and a guide to set you up, Ron Ricciardi is your man. The amount of time and effort Ron puts in is second to none. The cabin, food, and treatment I recieved were much more than I expected. I was able to harvest my first bear, a 275 lb dry sow on the third day, however we didn't recover her until the following day, Ron crawling on his knees looking for sign, shows how going the extra mile is his nature. ADVICE; Use a big gun my 45-70 with a good hit still left us with a tracking job.

Maine Bear Hunt
I took my daughter hunting with Ron Riccardi at North Maine Woods Guide Service in 2008. After talking with Ron on the phone, I believed he was not only a hunter but a true sportsman as well. On the first day of the hunt Ron sat with my daughter and videotaped my daughter taking her first bear! If I had not seen a bear the rest of my hunt I would have been thrilled, but on the third day of my hunt I was able to take a 402 lb. boar at 18 yds.!!! The cabins,Ron and his family, and the quality of the hunt and the beautiful scenery were absolutely the best you could ask for. I would recommend this guide service for anyone wanting a QUALITY hunt! Look forward to going back someday!! North Maine Woods Guide Service is first rate!!! Ten stars!!

Great Black Bears
I have used North Maine Woods Guide Service and owner Ron Ricciardi is simply the best. In the 5 years I've used him, I have harvested 4 out standing bears, including a Boone and Crockett award winner in 2008. It was 536 pounds with a 20 12/16 skull. The year I didn't harvest a bear the weather was to blame, heavy winds and rain all week. The cabins are immacaulate. Ron's wife is an amazing cook and they both treat you like family when you are there. Ron limits the amount of hunters he books in order that all hunters get a chance at a good bear and not to over extend himself.

Black Bear

Maine Moose
I drew a Maine moose tage this year after applying for 13yrs,And booked a hunt with Ron Riccardi.It would turn out to be a great move,The hunt was hard the moose were not moving but Ron kept telling me to hang in there and he was right on the second to the last day I scored on a 50inch bull! The hunt was a dream come true not only because of the moose but the lasting friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks to Ron and his great staff. JP

Great time
I travelled all the way from southeast Brazil to Eagle Lake - ME - USA in order to get a huge black bear to my trophy room, Ron provided a warm and friendly hospitality, nice accomodations and worked really hard to get me the bear i wanted so much, i have had the chance to see two big bear(the smallest bear i saw was around 250 lbs) that came almost at the same time to the bait, they chased eachother and to witness it was a great experience... A huge bear came to the drum, so i chose to wait and make sure of a clear shot and not to rush an oportunity on a beautiful animal but it turn and got away just seconds before right time to pull the trigger of my crossbow. Adrenaline was flowing and it was an amazing experience, i really want a monster(like the one that didn't give me the shot) and Ron took me to the right place for that. Ron Jr. was recording the hunt and i got a lifetime memory with the awesome video from the bears chasing eachother and from me aiming the bear and etc. On fall 2012 i will return from Brazil to hunt bear with Ron again, this time bringing two friend's to share the experince. When it comes to a serious guide who works hard for you, Ron Ricciardi is the right name in the Beautifull Maine. Thanks Ron, see you next season ;-) !!!

Open Season TV
Hello, My name is Tommy Melchert and I hunt for Open Season TV. I went to hunt with Ron Riccardi at the North Maine Woods Guide Service in September of 2010. First off I would like to say WOW!! what an awesome experience. I was in camp for two days with brutal weather and the bears were not cooperating, Ron kept my spirits high with more trail camera pictures and videos than any person can look at in two days time. The third day the weather broke and it was game on. I saw a bear early in the afternoon and then took my first ever black bear with a bow just before sunset. Eveerything at North Maine Woods Guide Service is Top Notch. Meals were super, accomadations were unmatched, Ron and his family couldn't have been nicer, and most importantly there are "bears a many". There were other hunters in camp with us that week and despite the weather, they killed out the first day. Ron takes the extra step and marches the extra mile for his clients. Open Season TV is planning a second trip to hunt bears at North Maine Woods Guide Service in 2012 and hopefully many years to come. Take it from me, if you are looking for a super hunt with great folks look no further than North Maine Woods Guide Service.

Ron runs a small but first class operation. Each party gets their own log cabin for the week. Good food, and very personable. Would go again. I only hunted one evening and took the third bear that came in. The other hunter in camp connected on Wednesday.

New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
