Went with group of guys who had been going to this outfitter for 7 years. Our quide scott was great. However personally i feel that the owner should have taken better care of the returning clients that over those 7 years had brought more than 20 hunters to camp with them. Out of the more than 20 hunters in 7 years, 9 bears were shot mostly on the smaller scale. we were placed on bait sites that had bear previously taken the week prior that no signs of current activity. the stand were almost all old wooden stands that were falling apart. However there were some newere metal stands and the owner said he was phasing in the new stands each year. The food was good and plentiful, accomadations were decent. Make sure you get up early in morning cause after first few people there is no more hot water. I know its hunting camp but still. there were 52 hunters in camp that week with 4 guides. The guides truck was broken and they had to use our personal vehicles. The back woods of maine can be tough on a brand new truck. The owner did replace whatever fuel they had used but the scratches are still in the truck from the rough terrain we had to get through to the bait sites. I know many places have plan b in case something happenes and there wasnt a plan b in place it seemed like. The overall expierence was a good time with good friends and good food, however there were way to many hunters in camp for the number of guides. seemed very commercialized. Seemed like owner was just packing as many hunters in rather than providing as great of an experience as possible for each hunter in camp. The year i hunted which was 2007 was the last year any of our group hunted with p&b. the other outfitter they have been hunting with since has exceded all of their expectations. I myself along with my wife have chosen to hunt with camp wapiti this fall.

Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
