Disappointing to say the least
Went last year and had a good trip but didn’t shoot any deer. Nothing qualified for the size rules... but we were optimistic to come back this year on a better week of the rut. We were rotated through the same unproductive stands for 4 days straight Seeing the same small deer. This year instead of home cooked meals we were served fast food Popeyes chicken and pizza. They had us hunting out of ripped and torn ground blinds and stands that were not maintained. Each morning when we asked what the plan was just minutes before we were supposed to leave they would tell us they had no idea. This lead us to believe there was very little scouting or planning for our trip and it showed. We were put outside in open tree stands on days where we expected rain and then we were left there even after we called to be picked up. We had to walk a mile and a half out on our own. Not the service level we were looking for for $1800 per person....

Disappointment
The lodging is very nice and the food was excellent, but that is where the good times end. Owner's requirements for taking game are beyond what was available to shoot. Areas with plentiful doe were 8 point buck or better only( and a minimum of 15" inside spread or you pay a $500 penalty) and areas where you could take buck or doe had no activity at all. We had 10 hunters out for 3 days and no one saw or took a deer that met restrictions. When I asked for a place to take doe I was put in a stand next to a road overlooking a clear cut and recently burned hillside. Huge waste of time and money.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Saskatchewan Hunting Information
Saskatchewan is home to giant whitetails and skies filled with waterfowl. Saskatchewan is located in the northern part of the central flyway and harbors huge numbers of migrating ducks and geese. Canada moose and black bear are plentiful. Hundreds of outfitters are available to provide whatever kind of hunt a guy or gal needs.
