First Time Elk Hunt
After checking out no less than 15 outfitters in the Northern New Mexico area, I settled on RB Outfitters and Guide Service in Chama, New Mexico. Holy Cow did I make the right decision !!! I talked with several hunters that had used RB Outfitters in the past, and never heard one negative comment from these guys. Most were successful a few were not but I kept hearing how hard these guides worked for the hunters in camp. Theses guides are dedicated to their profession and are extremely commented in the harvest of what they are persuing. Accommodations are nice wall tents with lot of space. Heaters are provided in each tent. Plus, each evening there is an awesome home cooked meal for all to enjoy. Lots of game seen each day with lots of opportunities for all throughout the week. Give these guys a call and you will be glad you did.

GREAT OUTFITTER!
This was my first elk hunt after retiring. RB is a small family outfitter with the owner, his son, brother-in-law and a couple of friends that guide while the wife prepares all the meals (which were awesome!) It is a basic base camp with wall tents with wood stoves. Ron and his guides discuss with you your abilities to walk and/or ride horse and plan their stategy accordingly. The guides work tirelessly to put you in a position to harvest a bull. Our camp went 7/8 in the first three days with the last hunter leaving early after several opportunities. With the one price, which I consider very reasonable in comparison to others I checked out, there is no addl. "hidden" fees for such things as a larger scoring bull. This experience has given me a renewed goal of losing weight and spending more time in the saddle to get back with RB Outfitters A.S.A.P. A great hunt with very down-to-earth, hard working folks.

Saskatchewan Hunting Information
Saskatchewan is home to giant whitetails and skies filled with waterfowl. Saskatchewan is located in the northern part of the central flyway and harbors huge numbers of migrating ducks and geese. Canada moose and black bear are plentiful. Hundreds of outfitters are available to provide whatever kind of hunt a guy or gal needs.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Ohio Hunting Information
Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
