Reviewer Comments: Seven of us hunted with 7-V ranch for a mule deer hunt in November 2003. We saw large numbers of deer and elk every day and we all got a nice mule deer on the trip The racks ranged from 22" - 26". Food was great with a hot breakfast and supper each day. The cooks packed us adequate and filling lunches every day. They used new pickups to transport us from the lodge to our hunting areas each time. We hunted hard all day, every day until we all had our buck by the third day of our four day hunt. The guides were great - they knew the ranch like the backs of their hands. They worked hard to get us all a good deer, but they did not pressure us to take an animal that we didn't want. They offer hunts for deer and antelope (combo hunts when the seasons overlap), elk (rifle permits are almost impossible in this zone but bow permits are over the counter), upland birds and turkey as well as prairie dogs. They also have a small lake for rainbow trout fishing. There are no additional fees for extra animals taken on combo hunts.

Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
