First Class Outfitter

Best elk hunt I've ever done! Saw multiple bulls everyday. Killed the 34th bull I saw at 21 yards. Good food, good camp great service. If I can draw again I will be back!

Diamond Outfitters Hunt Was Fantastic

My hunt with Diamond Outfitters was more than I hoped it would be! After applying for tags for 5 years I was lucky enough to draw a rifle bull tag. I saw a 370 bull opening morning and almost killed him. Ultimately I saw over 40 bulls in 7 days. My guide was professional and in great shape. He knew the area and where to go when the elk got pressured and man did the elk get pressured! I can't wait to hunt with them again. The camp cook was awesome! Im actually writing in response to Mr. Smiths negative review about the hunt. I was in this hunt camp with him and his hunting buddies. I was shocked to read a negative review from these guys who give the great hunters of West Virgina a bad rep. These guys did not bring the right equipment (despite a detailed equipment list from the outfitter), they were in horrible physical condition, they didnt know how to hunt and all they wanted to do was drink alchohol and make racial jokes. I could see the guides were embarrased too.....it was bad. I was glad when they left camp on the 4th day of the 7 day hunt. It was much more fun after they left. To this day I don't know if they left on there own or were asked to leave by the guides. This negative review is inacurrate and unfair to the guys who showed me a great time. To get a true assesment of this outfitter call any of the references on there web site. That's what I did. This West Virgina guy is unreasonable. I didn't even kill and he did--and still he complained! I will hunt with them for coues deer and elk in the near future and you should to. Maybe even javelina....

AZ Diamond Outfitters in Arizona not reputable.

Very disappointed with what was promised and what was delivered by Dan Adler (AZ Diamond Outfitters) during 2009 Elk Hunt. We had a group of 5 hunters - 1 on 1. Only 1 guide had good local knowledge of the area. A couple of the guides had never even been to the area before (one guide came down from Alaska to help guide). We were promised guides with good local knowledge. Dan Adler, owner of AZ Diamond Outfitters, never even showed up for the hunt (supposedly off hunting with his non-paying father-in-law) and never followed up after the hunt to see how things went - I think he knew it wasn't good. Camp was set up in an area where a forest road ran right through the middle of it. Most positive part of the hunt was that we did have a good cook. Would not recommend. Guess Adler wasn't really worried about it since it is so hard to draw in Arizona he would never see us again. I was the only one to kill an elk but it was pure pot luck. Feel free to call with any questions. George Smith 304 965 5565 West Virginia

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

Kansas Hunting Information

Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
