Reviewer Comments: Lou runs a great hunt. He has mountains of photo's of other successful hunters over the years. He knows the area better than anyone and makes sure that you are prepared for a real hunt in a wilderness area. He has some great hounds and knows more about lion hunting than anyone I have ever met. I'm going back for other species. You need to be in shape to hunt with Lou. You are going after the game not just sitting around a camp fire.

Reviewer Comments: Didn't use dogs, Lou said it was too dry. So tried calling, but that is a tough method for success. I paid for a dog hunt, wish Lou would have told me and I would have rescheduled the hunt. Nice land to hunt. Lou worked hard, but has a little edge. Hunt was recommended to me by Huntin'Fool.

Reviewer Comments: This was not a hunt it was a camping trip. We left camp an hour after daylight every morning, walked 2-5 miles to get to a vantage point to glass for deer.[by this time the deer had been beded for quite some time] This was supposed to be a wilderness pack in hunt, but their were 3 horses for 11 people. We carried our personal gear 1/2 mile off the road, the horses packed the camping gear in. I could go on and on, but the point is this was a fair camping trip, but a sham of a hunt [THEY SHOULD LOSE THEIR LICENCE]

Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
