Species Hunted: Mountain Lion

Game Quality: Great

Accommodation Quality: Great

Camp Condition: Great

Food Quality: Great

Guide Experience: Outstanding

Other Personal Experience: Great - Cook

Overall Impression: Very Nice

Recommend: Absolutely

Reviewer Comments: Lou runs a great hunt. He has mountains of photo's of other successful hunters over the years. He knows the area better than anyone and makes sure that you are prepared for a real hunt in a wilderness area. He has some great hounds and knows more about lion hunting than anyone I have ever met. I'm going back for other species. You need to be in shape to hunt with Lou. You are going after the game not just sitting around a camp fire.

Species Hunted: Mountain Lion

Game Quality: none

Accommodation Quality: OK, not 1st class as advertise

Camp Condition: OK

Food Quality: OK

Guide Experience: OK

Other Personal Experience: OK

Overall Impression: so so

Recommend: not for mountain lion

Reviewer Comments: Didn't use dogs, Lou said it was too dry. So tried calling, but that is a tough method for success. I paid for a dog hunt, wish Lou would have told me and I would have rescheduled the hunt. Nice land to hunt. Lou worked hard, but has a little edge. Hunt was recommended to me by Huntin'Fool.

Species Hunted: Mule Deer

Game Quality: Good

Accommodation Quality: Poor

Camp Condition: fair

Food Quality: good

Guide Experience: Very Poor

Other Personal Experience: Poor

Overall Impression: Very Poor

Recommend: Never

Reviewer Comments: This was not a hunt it was a camping trip. We left camp an hour after daylight every morning, walked 2-5 miles to get to a vantage point to glass for deer.[by this time the deer had been beded for quite some time] This was supposed to be a wilderness pack in hunt, but their were 3 horses for 11 people. We carried our personal gear 1/2 mile off the road, the horses packed the camping gear in. I could go on and on, but the point is this was a fair camping trip, but a sham of a hunt [THEY SHOULD LOSE THEIR LICENCE]
