Reviewer Comments: Pete runs a top-notch outfit. Hunts are spot and stalk, using 4-wheel drive vehicles to get to hunting site. We always see lots of both mule deer and antelopes. The guides are all very experienced and know the area well. Pete has leases on many acres of good hunting land.

Species Hunted: mule deer, pronghorn

Game Quality: ok

Accommodation Quality: not good

Camp Condition: not good

Food Quality: bad

Guide Experience: ok

Other Personal Experience: good

Overall Impression: not good

Recommend: no

Reviewer Comments: My brother and I hunted with bear track outfitters and the owner Pete Dube was our guide. Pete seemed like he would be more interested in taking the President of the North American hunting club. We where just two regular folk and it was hardly worth his time to be bothered with us. He could spot game very well and we each got a pronghorn and a mule deer but it was not worth listning to him ask my brother if he was brain dead after giving him bad directions that no one could follow. The food was bad. I think it was left overs from the week before.

Reviewer Comments: THIS IS ABSOULTLY A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SEE A LOT OF ANIMALS. WE DIDN'T SEE ANY 30" MULIES OR 16" ANTEOPLE BUT SAW SAW GOOD NUMBERS OF MULIES EVER DAY IN THE 24-25" CLASS AND ANTELOPE IN THE 13-14 CLASS WITH THE OCCASIONAL 15". THE GUIDES AND STAFF ARE GREAT AND WILL HARD FOR YOU. QUANTITY OF ANIMALS WAS IN EXCESS OF 100 PER DAY. ALL 4 GUYS IN OUR GROUP SCORED ON 23-25" MULIES AND 13-15 "PRONGS" WITHIN A 5 DAY HUNT. WERE BOOKED FOR A PARTY OF EIGHT IN 2001 WE LIKED IT THAT MUCH. YOU CAN HUNT AS HARD OR AS EASY AS YOU WANT. A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE A BEGINNER OR A OLDER PERSON TO SEE A LOT OF ANIMALS AND GET IN ON SOME ACTION, OR A SEASONED HUNTER WILLING TO WORK A LITTLE HARDER FOR A NICER TROPHY. ALL HUNTING IS DONE ON PRIVATE RANCHS (ONE IN PARTICULAR WAS 78,000 ACRES) OVERALL A REWARDING HUNT AND A GREAT TIME.

Iowa Hunting Information

Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.

Yukon Territory Hunting Information

The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
