elk drop camp
2nd season elk drop camp was in a nice area. As a 1st time western hunter, I fell fortunate to have had a successfull hunt. I give little credit to the outfitter though. We were disappointed with the haphazard camp and little to no direction on how to score on game. Scott was always vague when we asked him questions and we could not depend on his timeline. I was the lucky one to see game. 4 other hunters in our camp saw a total of 2 elk. I would love to hunt this area again now that we learned where to look for game. It would only take a little more effort from the outfitter to make it good camp.

New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Arizona Hunting Information
Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.
Ohio Hunting Information
Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
