Reviewer Comments: How this guy has been in businees since 1939 is beyond me. Tom Brogans representations of his Outfitting business is a complete scam. He's all about moving as many hunters as he can thru his barebone operations during the big game season. Let me share a little of my story with you.... ) Four guys left the first day because of the poor accomodations. ) Two guys left 2 days later because of the lack of game and accomodations. )Guide to hunter ratio was around 5 guys to every one guide and even then all the guide did was drop you off on the top of a small section of mountain and tell you he'd see you at 4 p.m. at the bottom of the hill. The guides were all very nice but had WWWAAAYYYY to many hunters for the amount of ground they had access to.... I feel sorry for the guys 2 weeks from now who will be hunting the same piece of ground 40 other hunters have tramped around on before them! ) Toms idea of "private" land were small sections of leased land in the middle of public hunting areas. Don't even ask how many hunters we saw opening day. ) Kool aid was served with every meal and his idea of "happy hour" was luke warm bush beer in a metal bowl. ) After 4 days of hunting 20 some hunters saw one bull, a few cows in the next county and no mule deer. Tom also offered hunting on his leases on the low lands but nothing of any quality was seen. I could go on and on but suffice to say, Tom Brogans Guide and Outfitting is all "smoke and mirrors". I have a suggestion... Get out of the business

Reviewer Comments: good trip to get away. ride the horse in the mountain for elk. that was ok. last day we went for mule deer. ride around in suburbans and hunt from them. was told our group of ten would be the only ones there, about ten more was there. two suburbans to hunt from. they split up and rode over the same places to hunt so we was basically followed each other. guide tried very hard, 1st year guiding for some, college kids.

Reviewer Comments: OUTFITTER TOLD US 10 TO 12 PEOPLE IN CAMP, THERE WERE 35 AND THAT THERE WOULD BE ONE GUIDE TO 2 HUNTERS. ORIGINALLY THERE WERE ABOUT 6 MEN TO A GUIDE IF YOU CALL QUIDING DROPPING YOU OFF AT THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN AND TELLING YOU TO MEET THEM AT THE BOTTOM. WRANGLERS AT BEST. THE SADDLES WERE TOO SMALL THE EQUIPMENT IN TERRIBLE SHAPE AND THE DISGRUNTLED QUIDES TRYING TO DO THEIR BEST BUT FAILING BECAUSE OF THE ATTITUDE OF TOM BROGAN. I WOULD HOPE NOONE SHARES THE BAD EXPERIECE THE FOUR OF US SHARED. FINALLY AFTER PROTESTING WE WERE GIVEN A QUIDE PER 2 HUNTERS AND A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP ONLY TO SEE DOE AFTER DOE. NO BUCKS, AND AS IF THE LANDS WERE SHOT OUT.........

Reviewer Comments: I have been on 3 previous guided hunts with other outfitters. I booked this hunt as a guided hunt as well, but this was far from a guided hunt. We were taken to a spot and dropped to hunt on our own on public land. this is not what I call a guided hunt. 25 hunters in camp after being told before hand that the number would not be greater than 8 at a time. Our guide if you could call him that could not even find the pickup points where we were supposed to meet him, much less field dress a mule deer that my buddy harvested. Being put out on public land i saw more hunters than game. My partners and i booked a guided hunt on private property but what we got was ripped off.
