Reviewer Comments: This was a horrible experience - the outfitter didn't care about us and sent us out to a spike camp with a guide that had a broken wrist. The guide had never been in the area before and had no topo map. The packer wouldn't help the injured guide preferring to sleep the day away after drinking the night away. Very disappointing - a wasted week of elk hunting.

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I both had elk tags. I also had a mule deer tag and he also had a bear tag. We saw NO game except some mountain goats my husband spotted. We aren't sure why the outfitter put us in this spot when it was obvious there is no game in the area. It did rain most mornings but another hunter in a different camp from ours shot a very nice bull elk. We didn't even see much sign of game in the area. We were so excited about this trip and we saw NOTHING. This turned out to be a very expensive camping trip!

Ontario Hunting Information
Ontario is often considered a sportsman's paradise. This large province contains huge sections of wilderness, filled with thousands of lakes that provide excellent habitat for Canada moose and black bear. Excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and other species can often be combined with a hunt. From spike camps to 5-star lodges, there are lodges, guides and outfitters for every adventure and every taste.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
