Stay home
Beautiful piece of property. Guides wanted to please but owner not cooperative. Accomodations fair at best, food non existant. Suggest you look at other options.

Bad
I spent two unhappy days hunting on Bostick. When we arrived guide took my money telling me all animals killed on previous hunt building my hope. Next day guide began to tell us that owner had lost much ofhis land and woods were exhausted due to continue hunting pressure with hunters to meet a 2000 acre planatation as indicated on website. Guide over slept on one day and mentioned that Bostick was down to 400 acres. Owner's wife also mentioned land left was up for sale. In shortBostick is misleading its hunters and continues to book more hunters than current land holdings can support. In my opinion Bostick in toast and is not worth spending money to hunt. We did not sent any bucks or pigs to shoot. When leaving there was no customer service, will not and I hope no one spends anymore dollars towards this plantation. The only good thing about service were the ladies who cooked and cleaned our rooms.

Bostick Plantation - Unsafe and Uncaring
Worst experience of my hunting life. The guides were late for pickup every day. The last day the guide didn't show up till after daylight. He said he overslept. They allowed another group of hunters to hunt drunk and smoke pot in the stand. They drove us 50 yards behind a LIVE SHOOTING RANGE WHILE THERE WAS SHOOTING! And there's not backdrop to the range! Their trucks were breaking down and we were stranded one time. They put you on top of each other. The beds were like a bag of hammers. The office lady was rude. They sent us to the lodge and nobody ever showed up at the lodge to show us anything. We had to figure out how everything inside worked on our own. The owner's son brought his family into the lodge while we were out hunting and they drank our beverages. They came to use the pool. We found out after we arrived that they leased half of their acreage to another hunting lodge and the other lodge is shooting the hogs to get rid of them so they can be a deer and turkey lodge. Their idea of baiting hogs is to dump some corn on the ground at noon on the day you're going out to a location. I can't stress enough how far away from this place all hunters should stay. You might as well take a wad of bills and throw them in the fireplace.

Total Disaster
Terrible operation. Book as many hunters as possible, decrepid quarters, extremely pressured hogs.

WARNING: AVOID, CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION
I only give this a 1 star because negative stars isn't an option. WARNING: Avoid this under-managed, over-hunted, once-was excuse of an outfitter. 16 hunters in a "lodge" took no hogs (you have to see a hog to take it) over three days. The story goes that this place has lost it's lease and has been running hunters through as fast and as many as possible before the lease ends (this month) leaving them with essentially nothing. So-called guides were worthless - giving them a tip was pathetic. They had all 16 hunters rotate stands in a tiny part of the so-called plantation. No feed in any feeders, no advice, guides pick you up, drop you off without a word. Never saw the owner after he stole our money. SCAM, AVOID. The only satisfaction is to know this deadbeat will be out of business by year's end.

Keep Looking
Nice website and that's about it. This place went out of date with Motley Crue. Beautiful land, looks over hunted / traveled. Tons of roads and stands. Corn spread everywhere. 4 hunters for 2 days - no hogs. Saw a few small deer (out of season). Talked to other hunters with a group of 4 and they had seen and killed 1. That's 1 for 8. All shared same thoughts. Place appears to be on last leg and is now only it it to get the $$. Guides are just local young guys to take you out in old beat up trucks to random stands. No rhyme or reason why they do anything. They like to have a beer with you but you can do that in your garage. They don'e seem interested in your satisfaction or in putting you on animals. Stands were full of garbage and written complaints as well. Main lodge is an 80s era plantation style house with dated everything. Even their pics of kills are all dated. They even have VCRs in every room to boot! The other lodge is an old farm style house that's in pretty bad shape. Bathrooms and kitched are otherwise clean and in working order. Too much $ for the level of service you get from them. Keep looking for another place for service and better hunting.

Bostick Plantation BEWARE
Myself and 9 friends went to Bostick Plantation in Estill SC to hunt for Trophy Deer and Wild Boar. It was terrible. No animals. 9 hunters in four days took zero animals, wait sorry, saw no shootable animals. Saw several football size piglets at on stand. Everyone was fighting ovwer that stand just to see something. Good luck if you go.

Great time! Southern hospitality at its best. Killed several large turkeys, good food and good atmosphere.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
