An Adventure

Well, they guaranteed us an adventure and that is what we got. The hunt had a little of everything from spike camping in a tent, hiking through swamps, climbing shale mountains, glassing, getting wet, waking up to frozen boots, some amazing views, plenty of game to see from high vantage points, close encounters, and on and on. I was able to come back with a 62.5" 33pt Bull and the 500+ pounds of meat that he wore. So overall was a success. I personally didn't see any other game such as wolf, caribou, wolverine or bears, but say plenty of moose (our primary target). The real only negative is the 2 days I spent hiking and repairing their side by side atv which had two broken axles. I am on the fence whether I consider it part of the adventure that I signed up for....but we got my moose the next day.

Reviewer Comments: This was my first sheep hunt, everything went excellent, I had my Ram in two days. The hunt was very well organized!! There were sheep everywhere, I flew in with 7 other hunters and all were done way before the hunt was over. From what I saw I would defiantly recommend this hunt.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
