Species Hunted: Elk/Deer

Game Quality: Poor

Accommodation Quality: Fair

Camp Condition: Fair

Food Quality: Good

Guide Experience: Poor

Other Personal Experience: Unknown

Overall Impression: Poor

Recommend: Definitely NO!

Reviewer Comments: Went hunting for "elk and deer" in 2001 with this outfitter during the rifle season. Saw no elk and few deer. Camp had 10+ hunters and instead of western style hunting, driving around in trucks with hunters piled in the bed, doing drives and a lot of down time. During times when not hunting in groups, guides dropped hunters off at spots even I felt were poor. Guides were arogant and treated hunters more like a nuisance. The outfitter, Jack Cassidy, was present the entire time and his guides were terrible. Other hunters in camp also had similar low morale and quality of other deer they shot was poor. I've been hunting in various western states and Canada and by comparison this outfitter is by far the least professional and I do not recommend investing your time and money on this one.

Species Hunted: Mule Deer

Game Quality: Poor

Accommodation Quality: Poor

Camp Condition: Poor

Food Quality: Fair

Guide Experience: None

Other Personal Experience: None

Overall Impression: Pathetic

Recommend: ABSOLUTELY NOT

Reviewer Comments: I hunted in 2004 and I have been sick about the waste of time and money ever since. Chris said "he knew where the big ones were", but we never seen any from the road. All that the guides wanted to do was drink beer and road hunt. They would sleep several hours during the middle of the day, so our hunting time was limited to mornings and evenings riding in the truck. Some of the hunters did shoot some small deer they found along the road. I didn't go just to shoot any deer to fill my tag. I went based upon the animals they said were available in their hunting area and never did see one. I have hunted in several states with other outfitters, but this was the WORST hunting experience I have had. BEWARE he is guiding hunts in Alaska now.

Species Hunted: antelope

Game Quality: poor

Accommodation Quality: fair

Camp Condition: fair

Food Quality: below average

Guide Experience: good

Other Personal Experience: good

Overall Impression: below average

Recommend: no

Reviewer Comments: I paid for a top quality hunt and got a poor hunt. The cook was usually intoxicated. I saw less than a dozen antelope in two days. Four hunters shot four antelope, not one over 14 inches. In two days I saw two deer and two snakes. Not much wildlife viewing to enjoy.

The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents.
