Big Game Safari Argentina

These pictures illustrate the trophy quality of animals available at the Catena Safaris Argentina in MAPU Lodge, e-mail www.catenasafarisargentina.com. Having successfully taken many world class trophies with outfitters throughout the US, Canada, Argentina, Africa, Ukraine, and Russia, I rate the experience at the MAPU Lodge as the finest experience of all of my hunting trips. The owners, general manager, chief of hunting operations and wildlife habitat, and staff were outstanding. They really focus on ensuring that each hunter has a great total experience. Costs are exceptionally good for the quality of the experience. Dr. Wally Kirkpatrick

Our trip with Catena Safaris

If you want to get away and relax. This is the place. Everyone is great, the food is great and so is the hunting. Great experience to take your wife or kids if looking for a place to hunt with a bow or gun. They have elevated and ground blinds over watering holes and game crossings. There is also the spot and stalk which is my favorite. They have a wide range of game and can cater to the high end big game hunts for SCI class animals or to the simple man that is just looking for a less expensive hunt for management stag or some of the stag that are free roaming to breed on their own. It's a great place to get away from the fast pace life we have in the US to a great slowed down, relaxing time. Plan on eating for hours when it comes time to sit down. They serve some great meals with some great wine. Plan on eating some of the game you shoot. I had some great lunches with fresh stag loin or even the old Michigan traditions of eating the hart. Just ask Nico and they will try to provide whatever you want. I took a couple buddies for their first big game hunting trip to Argentina with a idea of a simple management hunt in mind and they had the time of their life. The both shot a stag and also shot or had opportunities to shoot management stag. They both got their black buck which is all we planed but got the trigger itch and both shot fallow deer.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.

Manitoba Hunting Information

Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
