Reviewer Comments: Dan & Karen went out of their way to provide us with everything & anything we needed from the time we arrived to the time we left. There were 5 of us and we all harvested a mule deer and antelope each. We had the misfortune of have weather in the 70 to 80 degree range every day, which kept the deer movement down, but the guides were relentless in covering hunting leases continually looking for better animals. They were never satisfied with what we saw and always said they will find better, which they did. We had to see at least 200 animals each day. Best outfitter I have had in 15 guided hunts. All 5 of us will return and I highly recommend this outfitter.

Reviewer Comments: Went out to hunt with Cedar Breaks for early season bow antelope. Rained for two days before we arrived but we still tried the water hole approach- My hunt parnter had ant around him less than 20 yards first day but after two days I hadnt see anything so Dan packed us up and moved us 50 miles to another area- was packed with goat saw ove 20 bucks first morning - we ended up spot and stalk/decoying even though was before the run- after a few stalks dan got me my buck- there were many bucks over fourteen and several near sixteen- He could have lefdt us at the first water holes since that was what we paid for but Dan wants you to have success and have a great time. He worked his a off for me. Plan on going back for deer and another goat- Karen- his wife runs the lodge food was great place was perfect- they hunted as hard as we wanted and made us feel like family- Has best deer hunting on the powder river. Hoping to stick a big mulie or whitetail next year- great goat hunt you cant go wrong stephen@ottercreekimaging.com

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
