September Bow Hunt
We had pictures of several nice bucks but just couldn't get them to show while we were there. We tried changing our entry to stands (thought they might be above watching our approach) and watched the wind and thermals, adjusting as needed. The first two days I had 3 smaller bucks under 20 yards but just couldn't get the "Bean Field Eight" to show. The bucks are there, we just could not get it done in the time we had. I think stand/mineral locations could have been set up different to give a greater percentage of success for a bow hunter. Accomodations were good at the main lodge which is a newer modular home with kitchen and bath facilities. Beverages, food & snacks plentiful.

early season bow
This was my first early season bowhunt in Kentucky. John has several thousand acres leased in Lewis county which has a track record for putting some big deer in the books over the years. His trail cameras showed there are some big bucks living on his properties. Keep in mind, early season means hot weather in early September down in KY. A buddy and I hunted a total of 6 times and neither of us got a shot a mature 140+ buck. John was friendly and tried to keep us in the loop based on trail cam activity, we just didn't get any opportunities. I think the majority of his clients hunt the rifle season. Accommodations were good at his lodge, and the food was ok.

Spring Turkey 2012
DA Outfitters was a great hunting experience, lots of eastern wild turkeys, I was not able to connect on a Kentucky longbeard during my trip, but had plenty of chances at jakes. I hunted two different weekends here and both weekends had terrible storms and rain most of the nights and days, so it made the hunting very tough but I still had birds gobbling and 10 yrd shots at several different jakes. John was a great host, food was top notch, and the lodge was very comfortable and clean. I look forward to next spring turkey hunting in Kentucky and I am headed back down this fall for some monster whitetail hunting!!!!

Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
