great lodge/food not great hunting
I have hunted Deer Creek Lodge in Kentucky for over 3 years with one hunt 3rd week of October and the other 3 hunts in early January. I hunted with a group of 5 each time. Over these hunts, none of us shot a buck larger than 110 and I never saw a buck greater than that size ever. Granted, early January is hard time but not seeing any deer is hard to live by. Guides work hard but they tend to hunt the same bottom land way too much. We would end up hunting the same blinds over and over. They don't show you any trail cam pics of deer to at least convince you there's deer or that they even pass by the spot you hunt. The lodge and food are great. Just know that the lodge is a good 35-40 minute drive each time to the hunting area. Seems they cater to corporate upland bird hunts and offer to "sit in a deer stand".

Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Quebec Hunting Information
Quebec is probably best know as an excellent caribou hunting destination. Hunters from across the globe travel to Quebec to hunt their big Quebec-Labrador caribou migration. In addition to caribou hunting, Quebec offers black bears, Canada moose and whitetails.
Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
