Great Hunt
Sammy Frazier runs a very professional service. I bowhunted elk with my brother-in-law and close friend the last week of the season in 2011. We hunted on our own and had no trouble finding elk, probably because they were everywhere. Our expectations were exceeded. We saw a lot of elk every day and camp was right in the middle of them. Terrain was steep and walking was tough but it was worth it. Two of the three of us killed bulls and we all shot (some of us shot multiple times). Best hunt ever for me!

Reviewer Comments: My Son and I went on a late season bow hunt. Sammy & Bob our guides put us on Elk daily we both had our chance to kill good bulls but blew the shots. We hunted above treeline 12000 ft. so try to be in shape. We had an excellent hunt and would highly recommend Frazier outfitters.

Reviewer Comments: My brother & I both were successful he harvested a 4x5 and I was very lucky & got a huge 6x6 that scored in the 300 range. The hunt was great & we had oppurtunity on bulls almost every day I had previously had 5 unsuccessful adventures & this was my first bull Sammy will get you on the game & hunts hard The altitude could be tough if you moved too fast but we adjusted fine The horses were very gentle & easy to use I will do this hunt again & would give it my highest rating Jamie Moore Fairmont WV

Reviewer Comments: I hunted in unit 76 during muzzle loader season in early September 2007 with Sammy Frazier. It was an exciting trip as a first time elk hunter. Sammy prepared me well giving me all the information I needed. He set me up in an area where I was successful in shooting a 6 X 6 after only 2 hours of opening day. This is a trip I will never forget. I suggest calling Frazier Outfitting for your hunt of a lifetime.

Reviewer Comments: My friends and I have been pursuing elk for 15 + years. I myself have hunted in Colorado, Idaho, & Montana. Mostly with bow & one time before with a muzzleloader, after our first hunt with the muzzleloader in Colorado we decided that this would be the hunt of choice. So we decided to start sending for preference points to hunt in a good area. Well after 12 years we finally drew a tag and decided to hunt with Frazier Outfitters Well this was the best decision I ever made! Everything from the beginning was great. Sammy informed us of what this hunt would be like, what you should bring, the stress of the altitude, weather conditions, riding horses, be sure you can shoot! Etc. We all filled our tags with great bulls and great memories. 7x7 6x6 5x6 The best part of this hunt was the having the best guides I think there are! Pat, Marty & Ed were the most professional, hard working, caring and nicest people you could ever meet. They worked with all our individual needs. I especially would like to thank Marty for her patience with me. It was tough for me breathing, and I needed more breaks than others, but she understood, and got me into position to fulfill a dream that I will never forget.

Reviewer Comments: Sammy and Pat knew every square foot of the mountain, getting us into elk everyday. Not having hunting off of horses before I was worried about it. I rode Half Moon all week and he provided me with a comfortable and safe ride even when it was pitch dark. I got a nice 6x6 on the 4th day when Pat cow called it past me. It was a tough hunt, weather was horrible with snow, rain and high winds almost every day. If you can draw a 76 tag, Sammy is the guy to go with.

Reviewer Comments: Opening morning of muzzle-1)missed a Huge 7X7 after sitting near motionless for an hour while dozens of elk passed (a jog, excitement, and a stiff finger causing firing before set); 2) 7 different Bulls (5 Big running into the trees and 2-smaller 5X5 stopping) coming down the mountain at us; 3)& then hiking another mountain to near 12,000 ft, ambushing and killing a big 5X5-- with all these animals within 100 yards. Beautiful, surreal scenery and a lifetime memory.

Reviewer Comments: Sammy and Pat were very professional, hard working, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. They run a well organized and dependable outfitting service. We saw numerous bulls, and got within 100 yards almost every day. The wind, numerous cows and the elk's keen senses make it difficult to close the gap necessary for a bow shot. I had a shot at 50 yards, but misjudged the distance and came home empty. That's bowhunting. Excellent outfitter.

Reviewer Comments: I hunted with Frazier Outfitting in 2004 (Landowner Voucher/Early Season) and 2005 (Draw/2nd Season) in Unit No. 76. Sammy and his guides are first rate. In 2004 there were elk everywhere. However in 2005 they were scarce as the weather was horrible (hot, dry and clear skies). I passed on a 5 x 5 on the first morning and several 4 x 4. We were in shooting range of elk every day but one. Sammy and his guides worked extremely hard to try and put us on to some big bulls, but they were just not moving. Most hunters in the Unit didn't even see an elk but Sammy knows the country well and always put us in a good position to see elk. If you are lucky enough to draw a tag in Unit No. 76 you can't go wrong with this Outfitter!

Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
