Reviewer Comments: Even though the weather in the Fall of 1999 was a little warm 18 hunters bagged 9 elks and 3 mule deer. No hunter was disatisfied with the amount of game seen. The accomodations in this remote camp were very good with the food quality approaching a 5 star restaurant. The owner and his guides worked hard to move the game so that all would have an opportunity to take an elk or a deer.

Reviewer Comments: There were 16 hunters in our group and not an animal was taken . Granted the weather was not in our favor since it was too warm ; however , the guides were very inexperienced and did nothing to help . To make matters worse on several occasions spooked game into the next county by firing at stones since they were bored . We were taken off our stands much too early and our complaints fell on deaf ears . A terrible hunt !! I\\\\\\\'ve hunted 30 years all over the world and this was by far the worst .

Ohio Hunting Information
Ohio is best known for its trophy whitetail deer. In fact, the world record non-typical whitetail was harvested in Greene county by Mike Beatty in November 2001,
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
