What a shady service! "Hoot" would only take cash & never showed his face, put us (5 ppl) with 2 guys (his guides) and a dog in a soy field that was just laughed at as the geese flew by and landed across the dirt road. DONT hunt with SilloSock Wind socks... they don't work, stick with the full body decoys and an aggressive guide. 5 guys shot 58 geese in 3 hunts, sad. The guide talked us out of the 4th hunt do to weather coming, then "Hoot" sent a txt mad that we went home, as the bad weather came in. Found out we over paid $50 per person per hunt, gave the guides a huge tip, then Hoot went off. I would not use this service or refer it to anyone.

Do not use this guide service!!!! We paid for a half day goose hunt and couldn't have been more disapointed. Had a local farmers dog run into our field during the first 5 minutes of our hunt and the guide told us we would just have to wait for it to run away when we started shooting. We insisted it was going to flare birds and their would be no shooting to scare it away. He finally called the head guide to come get this mangy mut. However, the dog returned 5 minutes later and for the next 20 minutes we watched as it flared birds and chewed decoys. NO JOKE!! We finally had enough and told the guide to take the dog off or we were leaving. He took the dog and disappered for over 45 minutes. We had had enough of this debacle, and walked out of the field back to our truck. only to find our guide sitting across another field hanging out in his truck talking to a local farmer smoking a cigarette. we told him the hunt was not working out at all and we would help him pick up all the decoys and then just take our money back since the day had been a waste of time. Needless to say they wouldnt refund our money and claimed it a succesful hunt after we spent three hours in a field and killed one specklebelly. Having hunted this area for a while, we have had more than a few guides tell us they weren't surprised at that story after hearing who we hired for the trip.
