Reviewer Comments: I have hunted there now for 2 years and am planning another. Don knows his land and how to harvest big animals. It is a great value and an excellent opportunity to harvest a big buck. Almost everyone in camp is a repeat customer which tell you a ton about the outfitter. The land is excellent and the stands are great for a long day sit. Lodging, meals and service are great. Don does his homework (scouting, videos, trail cameras, etc..) knowledge is superb.

Reviewer Comments: We hunted with Grand River Outfitter on the openning week of the 2006 firearms season. Don's ability pattern deer movement was evident by his stand placements, there where 27 bucks killed by the end of the 2nd day and 38 by the end of the week. The quality of the deer ran from 100 BC to 180 BC.. it was up to the hunter to determine the quality of the deer he wanted to harvest. The accomidations and the food was also very good. The only negative I found was that there was not a good area to clean or butcher your deer. With that said, Don assured us that he would have a nice cleaning and processing station for the 2007 season. We have already booked our hunts for next year (2007). We had a great hunt and most of all a "GREAT TIME"

Species Hunted: Whitetail
Game Quality: Lot's of Doe's
Accommodation Quality: Good
Camp Condition: Poor
Food Quality: Poor
Guide Experience: Poor
Other Personal Experience: None
Overall Impression: Very Poor
Recommend: No
Reviewer Comments: The outfitter's guides were hunting while you were hunting. Stands were of poor quality, No lunch was served,. You were put in a stand and that was your stand all week. Stand location was poor out in the open, long range shot's with a rifle 200+yrds. This outfitter needs to cater more to his client's than themselves. Out of 12 guys in camp only 1 guy got a shot at a buck,. It was a nice buck, but not many were sighted the whole week. There are quality bucks there, but you'll have to hunt the rut with a bow or go the first week of the gun season. I was there the 2nd week of the gun season.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Arizona Hunting Information
Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.
Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
