Hwg Hunting again
I went back again in March 2014. I went for five days this time and had a blast. I shot a javelina and a turkey. This year I wanted a big coloured hog. I had a chance at a large black the first night but passed him up. There were opportunities on other smaller ones. I saw a lot of turkeys. Next year I plan to concentrate on that big coloured hog. If you want a good time hunting I recommend you check out Pete Ray.

Hawg Hunt
I bowhunted with Pete for three days in March,2013.I appreciated being picked up and dropped off at the airport. The food, lodging and visits were all great.Bowhunting hogs is tough but Pete had excellent stands. He knows what he's doing so I recommend you follow his instructions.Three days is pretty short for bowhunting hogs and javelina.I shot a nice hog on my last day.Next time I will go longer and try for a turkey as well.I can't stress enough how accommodating and friendly Pete and Barbara were.I had a great time and highly recommend you give them a try.

Reviewer Comments: Invest in snake boots/chaps and bug spray if hunting warm weather. LOTS of hogs. Excellent area to luck into a nice Bobcat. Very nice whitetail deer hunting in this area. TONS and TONS of coyotes. This was my second trip with pete and i will go back soon. His wife is outstanding person and cook. If you want big mean hogs with big tusks there here but you need to hunt them.

Reviewer Comments: This is the best hunting experience my husband and I have ever had. We have hunted extensively all over West, Central, South Texas and the Hill Country, and never seen so many animals or felt so welcome. Their Southern hospitality will not let you go hungry or your wine glass get too low! The private cabins are cute and the lodge is full of artifacts. We have hunted with this outfit for several years now, and been successful every time. We have taken numerous healthy Hogs,Javelina,Bucks, and a massive Eland this year. Thank you Pete & Barbara Ray for always providing us with a memorable hunt.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of five hunted three days for hogs and javelina in the second week of March, 2007. In total, we took home two hogs and three javelina, all with rifle. We had hoped to bowhunt for bacon, but we saw few pigs, none of which were in bow range during daylight hours. Three out of five guys had no shot opportunities at hogs, even with rifles. Three out of five guys saw no javelina. The cabin we stayed in was basic, but comfortable, and the food provided was very good. Our guide named Bill was a fine gentleman. He was friendly and very knowledgable, and I believe he tried hard to put us on hogs. This was my first experience with this outfit, but my fourth year in a row to hog hunt south Texas. While I did see some pigs at a distance, I saw less game on this trip than any other previous Texas hunt, and all of the places have been low-fence. This outfit does have access to many ranches, but my impression is that they have many hunters, leaving too few hogs and javelina. If you have any questions, feel free to email me for more details.

Reviewer Comments: This hunt was set up to allow my 15 year old son to take his first deer. Pete and his staff did everthing possible to ensure we had fun, success, and good time. The accomadations were very comfortable and private. The ranch is a work in progress and the Ray's attention to detail is evident in the buildings as well as the hunts. The lodge is filled with trophies and artifacts, there are hundreds of stories waiting to be told. This is a great place to stay and hunt and will only get better.

Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
