Hog Hunt - Okeechobee, FL
Oustanding hunt with as close to free range hunting as you can get; lots of hogs. Joaquin did an A+ job getting us ready, guns sighted and in the field. He went to extra mile to ensure everyone had success. Bonus for the hunt was the education on cleaning/processing the hogs.

Very good day
Joaquin was a pleasure to work with. His knowledge of the area and the hogs is really impressive. Honest in his presentation of the rewards and difficulty of the hunt. Slow in the morning and very fast in the late evening. I will definitely go again.

Father/Son success!!
I have hunted with Joaquin on several occassions and have alway had a very enjoyable and successful hunt. He is a true professional and very knowledgable. My son, 11 years old, went on stand with Joaquin and wasmablemto see a tremendous amount of game including a nice hog that he successfully harvested. During the hunt Joaquin filmed the entire event and presented the recording to us after the hunt. To say the least my son and I have a recording of a lifetime. If you're in S Florida and want a terrific hunt go see Joaquin.

Red Stag Hunt Patagonia, Argentina
This was a free range management hunt at Ranch Quemquemtreu a 170,000 acre ranch in the foothills of the Andes mountains in Patagonia, Argentina. Joaquin Capelle from Hog Wild Outfitters, Florida an outfitter at had known and trusted suggested I give this particular Argentina hunt a try. I researched the matter to the best of my ability but being that this ranch does not advertise at all, other than for some trout fishing advetures I was forced to rely completely on Joaquin Capelle something that does not come natural to me. I'm a well seasoned traveler but this was definately a leap of faith, fortunately for me things happened just the way Mr. Capelle had explained. From the travel agent he recommended, to the hotel in Buenos Aires and the preselected taxi service he arranged, to the final leg of the trip the second day into San Martin de los Andes all first class. Then there was the ranch, what an incredible place, Mr. Capelle had mentioned there were 5,000 head of red stag (stags and hines) I didn't count them but the numbers were staggering the constant roaring. One could go literally to the backyard of the ranch on a hunt or pack a lunch (and I'm not talking peanut butter and jelly) stay out all day if you wish, I did it all. The accommodations were second to none beautiful guest houses with fireplaces decorated in a cousy yet refined manner including an open bar. We were only five hunters( they only accept six hunters at a time) can you imagine we had the whole place to ourselves. We had a chef who cooked delicious meals to order and two housekeepers. We were aloud to hunt four management stags eleven points or less with any weapon, my guide Gil was excellent new his end of the business very well, I chose to hunt with a bow spot and stalk and took a beautiful stag at 32 yards, came within 15 yards of a monster trophy that I let pass because I was there for management and hunted three others with rifle everyone filled there quotas. If you want to experience a hunt of a life time, a true free range non commercialized hunt were animals are as they should be this one is it..Do yourself a favor and give Joaquin Capelle a call !

Hog Hunt
Went for my first hog Hunt with Hog Wild Outfitters. It was a spectacular hunt. Our guide (J. Capelle) was helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Upon arrival, our guide made sure that our rifles were sighted in perfect. We were put in perfect stands. The plantation was loaded with hogs. My friend had about 30 hogs under his stand alone and was able to take 2 of his choice of hogs. I was unable to shoot a hog from my stand, but my guide took me to a spot where we stalked a hog on foot and I was able to take a trophy hog. Between the 3 of us we got 4 hogs. It was a great hunt and great memories. I cant wait to go back!

The Chuck Norris of wild boar hunts!
Joaquin was an amazing guide. He knew the land extremely well and the feeding/travel patterns of the wild boar in the area. We had a great time stalking boar and hunting from tree stands. We were successful doing both. Myself and a friend managed to kill 3 wild boar. Each over 150lbs. Two were boar (male) and one sow. Joaquin was incredibly helpful and is a professional archery guy. We learned a lot from him in addition to have a successful hunt. I'd highly recommend Joaquin for a boar, alligator or red stag hunt.

Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
