I wounded and they doubled the fee to get back in
This is from the same hunt with Joel Snow that I reviewed before. I might have the dates wrong, but it was a late season 2010 hunt with Hunt Masters Lodge in Ohio. On top of the poor treatment we got with Joel and his staff, I wounded on the second day of the hunt. The next day we tracked the deer but he moved onto ground that we couldn't gain access to. So I asked Joel how much money I needed to pay to get back hunting again. He said $500, I agreed and we shook on it. The next morning I'm all ready to hunt and he comes back to me via text message and doubles the price to $1000 for me to get back hunting, he says it's because his wife, Lisa, "says so". I said "screw that we shook on $500, not 8 hours ago". He wouldn't budge. So I packed up my gear and left the hunt early. Just because I may have a little money doesn't mean I'm going to get screwed after we already agreed on a price. It was all really shady to me. I wanted to be a return customer, but will never return to Hunt Masters Lodge in Ohio.

Hunt Masters if you aren't a pro they aren't inter
This was my second hunt with Joel Snow and Hunt Masters Lodge. The hunting is great and the lodging is nice. But as soon as the pro hunters (Mark Beck, Mark Wimpy) showed up my hunting partner and I got treated like our money wasn't as green as theirs. We got the worse spots to hunt and got treated rudely by Joel, his wife and especially Joel's main guide, Tim Woods. Tim is a complete jerk, mean and nasty. And if you don't know as much as him about hunting he treats you like crap. Hunt Masters is more interested in filming pros and getting on TV (Dominant Bucks) than running a nice friendly business. You will spend a lot of money to go hunting with Joel, but buyer beware. I'll never spend my hard earned dollars with Hunt Masters again. I'd rather hunt at a place that appreciates its ALL of its clients.

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
British Columbia Hunting Information
British Columbia is an excellent hunting destination that offers a wide variety of game species. Vast wilderness areas and pristine coastlines provide world class adventure hunting for those seeking that trip of a lifetime. BC is arguably best known for big coastal black bears, Canada moose, grizzly bear, mountain lion, Dall sheep and Stone sheep. Hunters can book a hunt with an outfitter and avoid the license drawing process common in most U.S. states.
