First Gun Season, 7 Hunters, No Bucks Seen.
Let me start by saying I've hunted with outfitters across the country. Our group of five traveled to Illinois to find a decent camp, with two other hunters occupying it with us. The food was adequate. We had pretty good weather, but not one of us in camp saw a deer older than 2. The stands are overhunted, and the deer have patterned them. There was one young guide (Tyler) to try to take care of all 7 guys in camp. When we reported our lack of buck sightings, we were moved to other nonproductive stands. I could have returned for the second gun season for $900, but with 7 guys not seeing any bucks, it would have been a waste of money. I followed up on their website later, and by my observations the biggest bucks posted from last fall were the outfitter, his dad, and the guide. In my experience, I would recommend trying other oufitters before I would recommend this one. Wade, and Tyler were nice enough, but they just don't have the bucks.
Outfitter Response: Tim forgot to mention that 3 of the guys in his group did shoot bucks, 2 of the bucks were the biggest they ever had an opportunity at, so that is why they shot them. Against my suggestion nobody hunted midday during the rut, so right there they just cut their 3 day gun hunt down to a 1.5 day hunt. Now Tim is trying to base his blog around the 1.5 days that he spent on our properties. Oh, forgot to mention I personally guided Tim and some others. So there was more than one guide to take care of them. As far as me, my father, and my guides deer pictures on the website, they were not even from this year. As an outfitter YES i do deer, elk, bear, and turkey hunt. I will tell you that hunting mature whitetails is by far the most challenging animal you will ever hunt. I did not get into outfitting to QUIT hunting. My father and I have our own place to hunt and none of our kills have come off land that my clients hunt. In conclusion, there were 3 full days of hunting for Tim's group, but with their effort they turned a 3 day hunt into a 1.5 day hunt. Big Mistake!

New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents.
