I have hunted with Alan Larson twice. Once for Stone Sheep. Once on a mixed bag hunt. Lots of game good area.

Reviewer Comments: This was a Moose hunt on the Yukon border in a remote area in the N.W. corner of B.C. acessable by float plane. This was my first and last horseback hunt. The mounts were good but I have discovered that I am no horseman. My guide was a second generation native indian biggame guide from the Yukon named Mike and I can tell you that he was well experienced. Over a 10 day period we saw 12 moose of which 5 were bulls. On the eighth day I shot a 55" bull that Mike called to my gun. I saw one larger bull the following day from camp. Good country, good outfitter, great experience. Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
