I have hunted several times with muzzleloader , rifle and bow . The guilds are outstanding , well educated and very knowledgeable. The bear are plentiful and stands are easy access. The food, lodging and hospitality are top notch. I have hunted several times since 1994 with my son and friends and each hunt was a great experience.

I have known Yvon and his son for 14 yrs and have never met any guide better than these two. The accomidations are first class and the meals are five-star at the very least. Plan on gaining weight when you hunt here! He has numerous bait sites for every condition and hunter, both treestand and ground blind. This guy knows his territory and bears. Listen to his expertise and you will take home a trophy. I have been hunting for many, many years and this is my choice place to hunt bear. Once you go, you'll be hooked for life.

I have hunted with Yvon for the past seven years. The accommodations are first class. Yvon brings you into his home and for a week you are treated like family. The actual bear hunt is also frst class. Yvon goes the extra mile to ensure that you are hunting over active baits. He runs bait and checks stand locations every day. He will give you every opportunity to harvest a black bear. The rest is up to you!

I have hunted with this outfitter for the last 4 yrs and will continue to hunt with them. They run a first class operation. I would go back just for the cooking, the 4-wheeler rides, and the fun at camp. They want you to harvest a bear as much if not more than you do, and will do whatever they can to make that happen. I've seen good bears every year I hunted with them. I've harvested 2 bears with bow and 1 with muzzleloader (the biggest weighing 360lbs). You will not find a better bear hunt than with La Griffe.

Great Bear Hunt

Great Hunt. These guys are on thier game. They have the bears and they know how to hunt them. Guides really understand how to have a good time with the hunters. Food was awsome with plenty to go around. Every bait site was great setup for a bow hunter. I really cant say enough about our guidesand the way we were treated during are stay. Just a tone of fun. If you are looking to have a good time and see quality bears this is the place to be.
