Reviewer Comments: Weather really messed up hunting the three days we were there. Hogs were in season, deer were out as it was late February. There were five of us and we only saw one group of hogs on a Friday night and a single monster that was harvested on Sunday evening. Plenty of sign, saw loads of female deer, but the weather hurt the hogs. 1000 acres of fair chase land with feeders and various types of stands for still hunting. Accomadations were spartan and you cooked your own meals and bought your own food. The "lodge" as it were is a double wide mobile home, certainly not fancy, but adequate for a bunch of guys looking to go hunting and have good time, without breaking the bank. The best thing about the hunt was that it was a very reasonably priced hunt when compared to everything else that we deemed comparable when we were searching for a new place to hunt. Not withstanding the poor weather, we wouldn't hesitate to go back if our budget was the controlling factor. We had a good time.

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
