Species Hunted: Goat, Moose, Bear, Wolf

Game Quality: Excellent

Accommodation Quality: Top-notch

Camp Condition: Excellent

Food Quality: Excellent

Guide Experience: Terrific-Hard workers

Other Personal Experience: Cook was sensational

Overall Impression: Will go back next year

Recommend: Absolutely

Reviewer Comments: My primary animal was to harvest a goat. After seeing several large goats, my guide and I made the final stalk. Unfortunately, I missed the shot and due to a sore knees I had to switch to moose hunting on the river banks. It's quite an adventure to hunt moose from a boat and then go into the swamps. There were lots of fresh moose sign, but the rut hadn't started yet. If you want to see lots of game and have excellent guides, then this outfitter is a must.

Species Hunted: Wolf, Wolverine, Lynx

Game Quality: N/A

Accommodation Quality: Excellent

Camp Condition: Excellent

Food Quality: Excellent

Guide Experience: Great

Other Personal Experience: Great

Overall Impression: Good Time

Recommend: Yes

Reviewer Comments: I went on a trapping expedition for wolf, wolverine, martin, lynx, etc. The lodge was very nice and the private cabin was also nice. The hot tub is a nice addition to the lodge. The meals were also good and the staff there are knowledgeable. There is a lot of game in Bruce's concession. I set out numerous traps and hopefully will catch something in the near future. The guides continue to run your trapline after you leave. I did get to see one wolverine and numerous tracks of all species. This is a "top-notch" outfit who I would recommend for goat, moose and definietly bear (black or grizzly). Check out this winter adventure sometime and don't forget to "drive the dog-sled" one day too!!

Species Hunted: Black Bear

Game Quality: Good

Accommodation Quality: Excellent

Camp Condition: Excellent

Food Quality: Good

Guide Experience: Excellent

Other Personal Experience: Excellent

Overall Impression: Extremely Pleased

Recommend: Yes

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I arrived to the recommended motel and were pleased with the arrangments. Drove to camp the next day and was given the "Bridal Sweet" We were extremly pleased with it. Double showers were being finished up and there were two full kitchens one for breakfast and another for lunch and Dinner. My guide was Bob Weeks and he was the finest guide I have ever had. We took a large Black Bear on the 3rd day that scored 19 3/8 inches and had a 7 1/2 foot hide when squared. We hunted the last days and spotted some smaller bears that I passed on and on the final night we made a stalk on two more large bears but ran out of light. The hunt was a great one and I am hoping to take part in one of Bruces Mountain Goat hunts after I get a knee healed from surgery. Ryan Berg

Species Hunted: Rocky Mountain Goat

Game Quality: Very Good

Accommodation Quality: Excellent

Camp Condition: Excellent

Food Quality: Excellent

Guide Experience: Excellent

Other Personal Experience: Excellent

Overall Impression: Great Hunt

Recommend: Yes

Reviewer Comments: This was a great challenge and awesome trip!I enjoyed hunting with my guide Matt and took some great animals while I was there. The goat hunt is a physical hunt so be prepared. However, there is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment you get after taking a rocky mountain goat. I can't say enough good things about the Bear hunting. Forget the headache and b.s. of hunting in Quebec. These people want your business and work hard for it.You have a legitimate chance of killing a monster black bear with these guys.In camp the food was excellent!!!!! Jean is a fabulous cook! The lodge is first rate.Guides flat work their asses off to help you get your game! I will hunt with them again in the future.
