Elk and Deer Hunt
We've hunted for 6 years with various guides for elk/deer and the Middle Fork Lodge is by far the BEST. We hunted with Cal and Marcus who are outstanding! They know the territory, hunt hard, don't quit, and are excellent at coordinating their efforts for calling and spotting game. The stock they use are excellent and well cared for. Robin, the cook, was excellent too. The best food we've had at any camp; the camp is clean and comfortable. This team is the trifecta of hunting guides! We highly recommend them and the Middle Fork Lodge is lucky to have such a professional, hard working team of people. Excellent guided hunt and we highly recommend them.

Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
