Unethical

I would like to warn other hunters about the rules of this outfitter. They don’t disclose this when you book. First blood and your done also you will not be allowed to look for your deer. I hit a nice buck not a great shot far back probably gut. I was told we’d wait 24 hours then go look. My guide Dave would not allow me outta the truck to look and said he couldn’t find any blood: It gets better there were crows flying 109 yards inside the wood line but was not allowed to look. Then I was driven back to camp without talking or saying anything to me. The guide got out slammed the door went inside and never said a word to me.I feel it’s unethical to not make a good effort to find a wounded or dead deer. But these people clearly don’t feel the same once they have your money it’s all about the next guy. They need to disclose there rules before taking people’s money.

KS Whitetail

This was my 3rd year hunting with Midwest. I did not kill in 2010, but saw deer every day. The weather was not the best either. In 2009 I killed a 174 inch double drop tine buck. I saw a 200+ deer in 2008 & 2009 but never got a shot at him. You are pretty much hunting farm land free roaming deer. All the accommodations are great and the food is even better. I plan on hunting there every till I can not hunt anymore. Would highly recommend them. They take small groups, so they stay booked. Call early.

Kansas Hunting Information

Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

New Mexico Hunting Information

New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
