5+ Stars
This outfitter KNOWS how to make your hunt a great success. We all know everyone doesn't kill something EVERYTIME they hunt, but several hunters got really nice bull elks and a teenager got a nice white tail buck. Some others got opportunities to shoot but... We all had a blast. The hunts were one on one, each hunter had their own guide! The owners live in the same lodge that the hunters stay in, Hot full course breakfast is served every single morning at 4:30, buldging lunches are packed for everyone and a HOT full course, made from scratch supper complete with homemade desert is served at 7pm! (The owners & even the guides ate breakfast & supper with us) We NEVER ran out of hot water and we were treated like family! There is even a hot tub! We have already booked our hunt for next year. Absolutely amazing!

Great hunt and I never pulled a trigger
Reggie and Karen Carper have a great operation and even though we fought the weather (cold and snow) the entire week we were there we still had a great time. Saw a number of quality animals, but I never took a shot. However, my son was able to fill both his cow elk tag and his deer tag with a very wide 3x3. There's no doubt in my mind that if the weather had cooperated at all I'd have closed the deal and filled my tag (or at least had the opportunity). Reggie has a great program for youth hunters in that he doesn't charge extra for them to join their parent. They just have to buy their youth hunting license, and that's a great deal as well. My son and I definitely had a hunt of a lifetime and look forward to trying to get back to NW MT Outfitters again in the future. This was my second hunt with Reggie and Karen and I will tell you better folks don't exist.

Reviewer Comments: Hunted with these folks 9/14/09 thru 9/20/09 had a great time. Probably the cleanist and most comfortable place I have ever stayed at on a hunt and the food was incredible. Passed on about a 280 bull my first day and were in elk every day but one. My partner was on a huge bull for two days but could not seal the deal. For a great hunt with some of the finest people I have ever hunted with give them a try, great location plenty of big bulls you won't be sorry.

Reviewer Comments: My friend and I took our wives along on the week-long hunting trip. The wives took several days to go sight-seeing: Glacier National Park, Bison Range, shopping, etc. My friend took a perfect 6 x 6 elk on the second day. I took a 5 x 4 muley on the last day. I saw game every day but one. The scenery was majestic and breath-taking. The price was right. The guides were knowledgable and hard-working. I would highly recommend this hunt.

Reviewer Comments: This was my first experience at booking and going on a guided hunt. We picked this outfitter for two reasons from the outset, one being the location of were I wanted to hunt and two was their personality when we talked to Karen at the sportsmen show in Harrisburg, PA. We could not have been more right, could not ask to have picked better people to spend a week with. My friend Jeff went with me and we took our wives along as well - they had a great time sight seeing the area including Glacier National park. It was a hard hunt, which I thought I was prepared for - not even close - very mountainous area requiring allot of hiking up very steep inclines, luckily we went on horses/mules about every other day. The experience/scenery was out of this world, not to mention the amount of game we saw - 25 plus mule deer and several elk almost every day, which was amazing considering the temperatures were in the 60's every day -no snow. I shot a 6x6 elk on the second day of the hunt and Jeff shot a 5x4 mule deer on the last day. I can not leave out that Karen is also an excellent cook and their daughter - Heather - makes a great sandwich as well. Breakfast with bacon and eggs every day plus a variety of other good stuff and a great supper when we got home in the evening including some very good deserts - and I say home because that is what it was like. I would highly recommend this outfitter to anyone and myself - I cannot wait to go back!! Just going to get in better shape next time.
