Reviewer Comments: We did a guided drop camp to save money. One guide to four hunters. We know how to camp. We needed help finding the critters. The guide did just that by getting everyone in the group a chance to shoot a branch bull elk. Not everyone got an elk but that is why they call it hunting.

Reviewer Comments: The guide we had, John Weinans was a tough cowboy who could climb mountains like a billy goat. Only do the Minam unit hunt with him if your in great shape. After we got a bull down, he insisted on doing almost all the work. Can\\\'t say enough good things about the guide, wrangler, horses, food and camp. We saw elk, killed one for three hunters and have a lot of good stories to tell around the campfire.

Reviewer Comments: THE TRIP WAS VERY EXCITING, AND WAS WELL WORTH MY TIME TO HAVE THE CHANCE FOR A BEAR HUNT. HOPE TO DO IT AGAIN, NEXT SEASON. WILL USE NO ONE ELSE BUT JON. WENT OUT AND GOT THE BEAR THE FIRST DAY, WITH JONS COACHING TELLING ME TO HOLD OFF, TILL WE HAD A GOOD BEAR IN SIGHT. ON THAT TRIP WE HAD SPOTTED 8 BEARS IN APPROX 2 HOURS. WE ALSO HAD A SUMMER PACK TRIP OF A LIFE TIME INTO THE EAGLE CAP WILDERNESS AREA FOR 1 WEEK. DID ALOT OF SIGHT SEEING, AND FISHING. SAW ALOT OF ANIMALS. (BEAR, ELK, DEER)

Reviewer Comments: This guy is a rip off artist. He stayed in camp and read Louis Lamour novels. Beware....do not hunt with Jon Wick or OutBack Ranch Outfitters out of Joseph, Oregon. You will be throwing your money away. Think about a large donation to your favorite charity instead.

Reviewer Comments: This was to be a guided hunt, the guide spent 90% of the time reading a book. Pointed us to a direction to hunt and said see ya at night. Sleep is a 2 man tent on a cold wet ground, not what was promised. Saw 2 elk 500 yards away. not much sign.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Wyoming Hunting Information
Wyoming is a great state for hunters! It offers a wide variety of good big game, turkey, small game, upland and predator hunting.
