Elk Hunt
I would not recomend this outfitter unless you just want to give your money away. Leon does not scout for his clients and most of the time he is sleeping instead of looking for game, when I was in camp all his guided clients that were in camp did not kill an elk 2 people did kill elk but they were unguided there was one day we went out with a new guide and that evening when it was to dark to shoot we started to head back to the truck and his guide told us he was lost and did not know the way back luckily me and my brother had GPS units and that dirrected us back to the truck also he will tell you that he can take you in by horseback to get away from everyone thats a lie if you have a 4x4 truck and a BLM map you can hunt anywere he will take you.One day we did bugle an Elk on the side of the mountain fairley close but Leon refussed to go after the Elk he said it was to steep and the only way he would go is the Elk had to be a 6x6 or better I told Leon I had never heard anything like that and he promissed that he had the equipment to get a Elk out of the mountains by 4x4 or horse back if need be,that turned out to be a lie,the star rating is the lowest it will let me give 1 his camp is clean and there is good food bathrooms are outhouses and there is a shower you have to fill a bucket with water to take a shower my recommendation is get a motel or camp but do not use this outfitter

Reviewer Comments: ONE OF THE BEST HUNTS I'VE EVER BEEN ON. SEEN LOTS OF BIG ELK AND PLENTY OF MULE DEER.WE ONLY SEEN ONE OTHER HUNTER THE WHOLE TIME THERE. THERE WAS FOUR OF US, WE ALL GOT ELK.YOU CAN SEE OUR ELK ON THEIR WEB SITE AT "" COLORADOOUTFITTERS"" YOU CAN ALSO GET REFERENCES OTHER THEN ME. THE THREE OTHER GUYS WITH ME, ARE ALL GOING BACK. I HUNTED WITH THE OWNER AND HE KNEW THE LAND LIKE THE BACK OF HIS HAND.ON THE SECOND DAY OUT WE HUNTED THE RIM, THE HARDEST HUNT THERE,WE SEEN A BIG BULL, LITTLE BULL TWO COWS AND A CALF. THEY WERE ACROSS A VALLEY ABOUT 2,000 YARDS AWAY,HE SAID DO YOU WANT THAT BULL, I SAID YES BUT ITS TOO FAR AWAY,HE SAID WE'LL BE THERE IN 30 MINUTES,--NO WAY --YOU WOULD HAVE TO SEE THIS RIM, BUT IN 28 MINUTES WE WERE ACROSS A 50 YARD MEADOW FROM THE ELK.THE COWS WERE RACING BACK AND FORTH, THE WIND WAS IN OUR FAVOUR.THE ELK WERE BUGLING, IT WAS GREAT. THE HAIR ON THE BACK OF MY NECK STOOD UP.THEN THE WIND CHANGED, THEY WERE GONE, NO SOUND NO NOISE NOTHING JUST GONE.THAT WAS THE BEST HUNT I'VE HAD AND GOT NOTHING,NOW I'VE SHOT BIG MOOSE ,BIG DEER, BUT MY BEST HUNT I GOT NOTHING. FOOD WAS GREAT. THERE IS A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT HUNTS,FULLY GUIDED OR SEMI GUIDED. CALL THEM YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED AT LEON PIERCE 1-970-434-4439 GOOD HUNTING ROB

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
