Reviewer Comments: My son & I had a wonderful hunt. All the staff were top rate and very helpful. Cabins were warm & cozy, food was home cooked delicious and plentiful. We saw a lot of deer, several large elk and moose. David, Roland's son, put us on several nice mulies. They also have a skinning area with fresh water and a meat processer for your convenience. We even got in a little catch and release trout fishing. All in all it was the best hunting trip I've ever had. Looking forward to going again.

Reviewer Comments: I gathered information regarding the hunt from fellow bowhunters I knew BEFORE contacting Mr. Leishman and they were all quite positive. As a teacher, I can't take time off once classes begin and have to hunt in August. I've hunted with David for three years because he has done all that he could while guiding me in some very difficult weather conditions. God willing, I'll be returning again this year.

Reviewer Comments: FOR YEARS I WAITED TO HUNT HERE. I WAS TOLD WITH MY EXPERIENCE, THAT I DID NOT NEED A GUIDE. WRONG! I NEEDED A PLACE WHERE THE OWNERS DON'T HARASS WILDLIFE. I WAS TOLD I HAD THE RANCH TO MYSELF,FROM LABOR DAY TILL ABOUT SEPT. 10th. I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF GUN HUNTING GOING ON DURING MY BOW HUNT. I THOUGHT I HAD ASKED EVERY QUESTION THOUGHT OF. THERE WERE HUNTERS WITH A FULL-TIME GUIDE CHASING ELK WITH ATV'S UNTIL A SHOT PRESENTS ITSELF. ONE HUNTER KILLED A VERY RAG-HORN BULL AND THOUGHT HE HAD A MONSTER. ANY ELK IS A GOOD ELK BUT AT THE COST OF HUNTING ETHICS NO ELK IS BETTER. I CONFRONTED MR LEISHMAN ABOUT HIS LIES AT A SPORTSMANS SHOW. THIS WAS AFTER A LETTER DEMANDING A REFUND. HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF ME. HE SENT A LETTER FROM HIS ATTORNEY TRYING TO SUE ME FOR DEFAMATION AFTER HE DEFAMED HIMSELF. PLEASE CALL ME ANYTIME. THANX BP

Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Arizona Hunting Information
Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
