Reviewer Comments: very little game sighted. guides tried but had little to offer. stands needed refreshing at each stop. no shooting lanes other than the shooting houses. we got the feeling that guests were not always the first concern. too bad. we did however meet a very nice couple who also will not return.

Reviewer Comments: Every stand was covered in tree trash, blinds were hanging off if they were their at all, some were poorlymarked, all had branches in the way. by day two I felt like an employee from all the stand repair. wasp spray was provided and needed to enter box stands but was no help for the rats and squirels. 4 hunters 3 does no bucks only one seen but no good shot possibility unless he was coming up the ladder.Do to the tree growth. food was awsome so was the hospitality. the lodge was nice as well. but their was no preperation done for our hunt, but they were scrambling for 40 hunters coming in behind us. it seems to me that the owner uses this place as a cash cow oct.-jan.

Reviewer Comments: My second hunt with Pushmataha during 2004 muzzleloader season. Four hunters in camp. At the end of the third day only one doe taken! VERY few animals seen. No bucks seen. They are using the same old stands and last year. Always a discrepancy concerning hunt price. Staff is more concerned with money paid than game delivered. I won't be back. Too bad because the guides and cooks are great.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
