Great Moose Hunt
I had a great moose hunt in Sept. 2014 with Rainbow Mountain Outfitters. The only problem was we saw so many moose the first day that I tagged out and didn't get to spend more time there. Our guide Leslie was absolutely awesome. She knew every wrinkle of the territory and how to approach it with tactical precision. Her mom Joyce was the camp cook and she kept us well fed with great food. Again, wish we could have tried more of her cooking! The territory is vast and flat. The riding was easy, especially since I have never rode before. The horses were well tempered and you could tell that they are well cared for. The accommodations was a wall tent with two cots and a wood stove to keep warm. Very comfortable. We saw 4 bulls the first day and after not being able to get into position on the first two, I sailed a shot of the mark on very nice bull from about 220 yards out. Later that evening I connected on nice 38" bull and was extremely happy. I really enjoyed this hunt and look forward to returning there again another time. I highly recommend Rainbow Mountain Outfitters.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
Yukon Territory Hunting Information
The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. The Yukon is a vast, pristine wilderness that holds a tremendous variety of trophy game species. You should be in excellent physical condition to maximize your success and to enjoy the Yukon experience.
