Hunter
Rod and Sue have been in business a long time. They know the land and know how to take care of there customers. I bow hunted bears with them and rifle hunt whitetail with them. I took great animals in both camps and I will be back in both camps this year.

Moose hunting
This is absolutely the worst moose hunting experience you could have. They hunt in an area in Alberta that every local and his brother hunt. We ran into about 10 locals a day. My guide smoked about 2 packs of cigarettes a day and did it constantly while driving around the enclosed side by side as well as while we were in the field— when I asked him about it interfering with us being scented he told me he didn’t believe in all that scent stuff. We had 8 hunters in camp and only one person saw a moose the entire week and they shot it from the road. They advertise nice lodging facilities but you stay in wall tents and they have a shower rigged up in the back of a horse trailer. I didn’t care about the accommodations per say other than it was advertised differently. The year before us they only got two moose for the entire season. Almost everyone in our camp got the hunt at a SCI banquet so I realized these guys only run a moose camp in order to get a booth at the SCI show. Their real hunting operation is for deer and they could really care less about moose hunting.

Lied about success rate
Terrible. They lied about their success rate on moose in SK over the last 3 years. They told me it was 70% and they told the other hunters it was between 70 and 100% over the last three years. We found out from the guides that they averaged 1 out of 3 the last three years and 1 out of 3 the year I hunted. 1 moose seen between all 3 hunters. Don't trust them. They didn't set out bait fro the bear hunters until the day after they arrived. That's not how it is dine.

Great Outfitters!!
These guys are great! Met them at an expo in Florida 2010 in July went hunting with Rod and Logan in Nov 2010.. What can I say, everything was as advertised! Shot a 167 11pt whitetail bruiser with HUGE mass on day 6 of the hunt. Man these guys work hard for their hunters and Sue is a great cook. The best thing about these outfitters is there is no set date on how long you can hunt. you can hunt for a week or the entire season until you find the Deer you want. Thanks Rod and Logan!!

This is one of the best outfitters in North America, Bar none.. 5000 us dollar price tag is well worth it. No hunting time limit, and you're not getting dumped off in a stand with a sandwich for 10 yrs. a day. Rod and Logan Hunter will accommodate to any hunters needs and will make your hunt successful.
