Bad
I hunted early muzzleloader with schraders. Was told about all the big bucks and deer on the property and also that there were 25,000 acres. After 2.5 days of sitting in the same stand, I was totally disappointed. I asked to switch stands numerous times but was told that this was my spot. To put it in perspective, 20 hunters stayed in the manor and 1 doe was shot during that hunt. I did walk around the woods on my farm and found many skeletons of deer that were killed in prior seasons. I don't know if guys were just shooting them and leaving them but something is definitely wrong at schraders. Once ken has your money, good luck finding him. He seems to disappear, probably because he doesn't want to hear the complaints of his clients.

Successful Turkey Hunt
I had my first turkey hunt at Schrader's. I hunted for two days with two different guides at two different spots and stayed at the Manor House. We saw many hens, several jakes and at least one tom each day. On the second day, I killed a jake. The guides were very responsive and very active in calling in the turkeys.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
