Great Experience
Shawn and Jen Pinkett run a truly great guide service in Alberta. I hunted with two other guys, Georgia Boys, whom I had never met before and the Pinkett's camp quickly made us old buddies! They are not only outstanding guides, but they also are great companions who look after one's every need. I remember coming into camp one cold wet night and finding that the stove in my tent had been fired up and an excellent hot meal was waiting in the mess tent. We each took two bears, one of which (not mine, regrettably) came very close to setting a record. Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
