Reviewer Comments: Our group of 13 bowhunted this ranch in October of 2004. Peanut Campbell and the Shepard brothers were a blast to hunt with. They are excellent guides and kept it fun for all of us. The food ranged from Texas BBQ to prime rib, and was exceptional every night. The bunkhouses are clean and modern. Very comfortable. The terrain is Texas hill country. Beautiful, with many oaks and cactus. Deer and hogs are plentiful. Most hogs were seen at dark, but the deer moved throughout the day when we were there. Some hunters saw shooters everyday. Others didn't see many. But everyone at least saw a trophy. 8 out of 13 hunters harvested bucks. The bucks ranged from 100 to 135 class P&Y. 2 others shot bucks that weren't retrieved. We drug out 4 hogs, with many others not found. We also harvested 10 does. We definately filled up their walk- in cooler. Many of us plan on returning next year, and all of us had a ball this year. I feel the Solana Ranch is an excellent value for the money, and would highly recommend them.

Saskatchewan Hunting Information
