Do your homework
This was to be my first outfitter hunt. I was so excited about going I even booked it almost 1 yr in advance. I was there for 3 1/2 day I saw 2 does on the last morning. The stands were not very good. The feeders looked like they had'nt had any corn in them in a while. They take a van full of hunters and start dropping them off in the same block, not even worrying about the wind. There were 30 hunters in camp and all rooms had 3 bunk beds in each one. It was more of a MONEY factory than anything eles. There were 2 showers for those 30 hunters which had not been cleaned in only god knows how long. I wish I had done a bit more research before booking this hunt.

Hog & Deer Hunt
Our 1st Whitetail Velvet & Hog Hunt was a HUGE Sucess! I got a 9 pt. my 1st day & a 200lb Hog that evening. The 2nd day I passed up an 8 pt., 3rd day I got 2 Hogs in the evening hunt. Mark & Kevin helped me track & find my 9 pt., without their guidance I was unable to locate it on my own. I had such an overall great time that I returned in October & November, 2011 and will continue to make South Carolina Trophy Whitetails my primary hunting grounds!!

A group of 8 of us went down to South Carolina Trophy Whitetails (from New York) for the best 3 days of hunting. The place was everything they said it was. The first morning we saw several deer and managed to kill ourselves 2 eight points and a nine point. In the afternoon we set up our sites on some hogs and got us a couple of nice mounters. The guides were great and so was the food. We ended our 3 days with 7 deer and 5 hogs and of course booked another hunt. Looking forward to going back. Good Job South Carolina Trophy Hunters!!!

My dad took me here for a hog hunt. It was the BEST hog hunt ever. The guides and thier dogs had me on a hog real fast. I shot my first TROPHY hog with cutters almost 2 inches. The place was great and I had alot of fun and cant wait to go back.

don
We were told their would be a large amount of deer on well maintained food plots and great hog hunts when we came to SC Trophy Whitetails so that is what we expected. Instead the hog hunts and on a fenced farm and if you shoot anything with teeth you are expected to pay an extra fee. The food plots consisted of corn thrown down on the ground two days before opening season which really doesn't attract anything but a squirel. It takes more than two days to attact a deer to a specific plot or feeder and they really didn't put the time needed into making a healthy outfitter and a good hunt. Of the 20+ hunters in the camp NO ONE got a deer during the 3 days we were there. Not a single one. That means all 20 guys went to 20 different deer stands both in the morning and in the afternoon and not a single one got anything. The one hunter walked out and it's a good thing she did because I don't know where they were going to put their new clients had she stayed. We left early too after realizing what we were told was nothing but lies. We will never go back there and I hope this review will help others to make the same determination. If nothing else we learned from this that we have to do our research because apparently not everyone can be trusted.
