Super outfitter
Rod Sullins is one of the best outfitters I have ever been hunting with. His properties have some of the largest big bucks I have ever seen. He knows his stuff and is one of the most honest guys you will ever meet. Since Rod only allows bucks over 140 some guys go home eating tag soup and have a problem when they don't kill a deer then get a attitude and make up false reviews on this site. I was there when this happened. Rod put the hunter on not one but two bucks over 150 and the hunter missed both bucks. Then I seen hunter name on this site even posting phony text messages. Some guys are just hateful. I had a great hunt and killed a 160 p&y

Fantastic Hunt at SEKoutfitters
Had a Fantastic hunt hunting with Rod at Southeast Kansas Outfitters. It was my first time hunting whitetails and rod helped me get the trophy i was looking for. Seen many shooter bucks in just 6 days of hunting. Beautiful whitetail property we were hunting on. Can't wait to get back to Kansas and hunt with Rod again.

Excellent hunt with Southeast Kansas Outfitters
Had another excellent hunt with Rod at SEKO. 5th yr hunting with them. First off let me say Rod is a Stand guy, very honest and knows what he is doing when it comes to hunting whitetails, And it upset me to read a couple bad reviews posted by a couple of hunters that just because they didn't kill a buck they feel better by making up lies and trashing his business. I was in camp hunting with Rod on such and occasion. The Hunters broke several rules on the contract that affected the hunt for other hunters in camp. So Rod tells them to leave so their recourse is to make up lies and trash his business on this review page. You have to remember just like on this website anyone can post a review and lie. The only way to check on an outfitter is to actually talk to hunters. Ask the Outfitter for phone numbers of past clients that were successful and unsuccessful. I feel that if a hunter didn't harvest a buck but still has a positive review about the outfitter this is the best review you can get, also beware of the Kansas Outfitters Association. upon more research i found that this association is just governed by the members them self so you can't even trust the reviews there. I can tell you that i have hunted with Rod for 5 yrs now. 3 out 5 yrs I harvested bucks ranging from 140-165 P&Y and would recommend South East Kansas Outfitters to everyone.

Deer Hunt
SEK outfitters is an outstanding outfitter. The guides have stands set up perfect for each direction of wind that a hunter may encounter while hunting.They knew there deer and put you in areas that was best for killing a mature kansas whitetail. I hunted for 5 days and seen numerous 130 and 140 class bucks in bow range but I chose to let walk beings they were young deer. The last 3 days the rut was getting fired up and seen several 150 160 class deer from the stand but wouldn't present a shot for a bow. I will be going back in 2015 to hunt with Southeast kansas outfitters. I would recommend if you looking for a great outfitter in kansas give these guys a shot. I would give them overall 5 star rating.

Fantastic Hunt
Rod always puts me on big bucks. This was my third year hunting with Rod and i can honestly say rod knows his stuff about Hunting big kansas brutes. I have had a chance all three years hunting with rod to kill a 160+ buck. Excellent stands to hunt from along with his location of stand placement. He knows every buck on his place I will be hunting again this year with Southeast Kansas Outfitters.

5 years with SEK outfitters
I have hunted with Rod for five years now, I have killed 5 bucks with him my biggest being a 181" monster. You won't find a harder working guide than Rod. You have to listen and hunt right and you will get a shot. This year there was four of us and we went 3 for 4 , with the one guy missing a big 8 pointer on last day.

Awesome deer hunting!!
If you are looking for a quality trophy whitetail hunt, Rod Sullins is your man! Beautiful country, tons of deer, and an awesome experience. Deer feel no pressure on his farms and even though we all didn't tag out, everybody felt like it was money well spent. After all, it's hunting not killing. It's 100% fair chase and the bucks are there, the experience is more like hunting with a friend than being told what to do and how to do it! I killed my biggest buck to date with Rod and he was just as excited as I was!!

Lots of bucks
I seen lots of bucks doing a late season hunt with rod sullins at Southeast Kansas Outfitters. I wasn't quite sure about what to expect bow hunting late season after the rifle season, but i have to say i seen a lot of good bucks. Rod let things cool down for about a week or so after the end of rifle season before calling me to come out and hunt late season. The deer were calm and hitting the food sources that rod has planted just for late season. i seen a 150 class 8pt, a 150 10pt and another 140 8pt, plus a ton of younger bucks over the course of my 6 day hunt. On the last day of my hunt i shot a nice 147in massive 8pt at 15yds. Rod set me up perfect on this buck, he even told me what direction the buck would most likey come from, and it did just like he said, Southeast Kansas Outfitters did a excellent job on stand set up and placement as well as tracking and caping the deer for me to take home, they even packed my buck in ice in my ice chest for trip home. rate AAAA on service and big bucks-- they got em late season too, and no other hunting presure.
